i had similar problems with nero not recognizing my freaking drive when i reinstalled windows. this was a while ago. right now i am using roxio easycd creator which came free with my plextor dvd burner. it supports text and is pretty easy to use. i did like some of the options that nero had, but roxio probably does all of that and i just havent tried to... i have only burned one cd using it, i burn dvds primarily...

Desperado,

I'm not sure whether or not Nero Suite 6.0 Suite 3 does what you are looking for, but I got an excellent deal on it from www.surpluscomputers.com, $7.99 w/free shipping. At that price I actually bought a couple of copies. It's not the Ultra edition, but for that price it might be worth a look.

Jeff

My elderly 4.6 version of RecordNow allows me to change the CD Title by editing it in the CD Text window.

I didn't get any reply from support at Sonic for my RecordNow questions on how to edit CD text either so I guess support is equally bad for these products. Since I was able to download a copy of Nero and prove it works it wins again. I purchased the full version before I noticed Jeff's fabulous deal. At least I will have the full retail version this time. Thanks again everyone for your comments.

seems like nero doesnt like to have a drive installed after its software has been installed ever on a system... i.e. a new drive installed before new os, then install nero. i have had problems with nero never being installed, but adding a drive into the system later and it not recognizing.

i couldnt care less anymore, because I used to think Nero was far superior to cd burning softwares, but now most of them are very close... i used to hate easycdcreator, but it is good now. anyway.

also, i dont think most of the nero versions suppord dvd writing do they? i know my older version doesnt.

Nero vision express does. It is part of Nero 6 Ultra.
