Dear Fellow Outlaw:
As is our annual tradition, the Outlaws will decamp from the Hideout and travel down to the annual Home Entertainment Show next weekend at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. Peter and Scott will be among the many Outlaws in attendance and we all look forward to meeting you there. If you are anywhere near Manhattan from Friday, May 11th through Sunday, May 13th, we encourage you to join us at the HES.
Looking for a few reasons to make the trip to the Big Apple? Here are some things to temp you with:
· You'll be the first to see four new products that we'll be rolling out between now and this fall. However, let's quell the rumors right here by saying that none of these products are new processors or receivers. Our development work in those areas is underway, but it will be some number of months before we have any announcements. That being said, a few advance hints are that the words "powerful", "unique", "flexible", and "first of its kind" will be used to describe the new products.
· This year's demo will feature two of the new products, giving you a "first listen" to a system unlike any we've ever shown. You'll also be able to see and hear other Outlaw products, including the new Outlaw Bookshelf Loudspeaker and the RR 2150 Retro Receiver.
· There may be a line for the demos, but it will be worth the wait. After all, every attendee will receive this year's special edition "Outlaw Tschotska". This is an exclusive available only to HES attendees. Clearly, that alone is worth the price of admission!
· The first of our "Show Specials," the LFM-1 Plus at a reduced price of $499, was announced in a message blast last week. We'll have more specials at the show and they will be equally exciting, including one that will not only knock your socks off with the price, it will knock your eyes out (HINT!) with its performance. Details will be available in our post-Show newsletter.
When you put it all together, this year's Home Entertainment Show is shaping up to be the best ever. In a business where we correspond via e-mail, phone or in the Saloon, this is a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face as fellow Outlaws so that we may share stories, answer questions and hear suggestions. We look forward to meeting you all in our demo booth on the Conference level at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
That's all for now. It's time to pack up the chuck wagon and get it rolling down to New York to make it there in time for the Show. See you there!
Best Regards,
The Outlaws
