Remember, these beauties are hand built and individually tested so that each speaker is matched to within ½ dB of our reference standard. This high level of calibration assures that any given speaker is virtually identical to any other. It takes more time to build them this way, but by manufacturing to this very tight tolerance the speakers are able to deliver nearly perfect imaging.

The reason for this is that we believe it is important that loudspeaker reviews be made with the listener hearing the final product, not working prototypes that are still in the "tweaking" stage.
