FIXED IT! Got a call from the west coast at 12:44 AM. (Scared me, thought it was work calling me in on my day off.) But it was a
Mr. Caldwell (caller ID) calling me about my problem. (also bought a 1050 but has to wait until Xmas to put it up.) He said to disconnect the speaker wires first, then turn it on. If the problem is still there, then disconnect the rest and then connect one at a time until you find the problem. Chances are it's something connected that is causing the problem.
Turns out he was RIGHT! I disconnected the speakers and it fixed the problem. I'm hooking them back up more careful this time.
Got the front speakers hooked up & the unit works! I was so excited had to post this reply. THANKS to Caldwell from the west coast!! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
