After some research we can give you the final facts. Ralph is not the President of ATI. He is not even an employee of ATI. He happens to be an ATI dealer. Need we say more.

Ouch... A dealer... That makes for an interesting "spin" on his original e-mail to Steve: "Outlaw is made by ATI and the Outlaw amps are lower cost, stripped down versions of ATI(smaller power supplies, less # of output transistors, thinner sheet metal in cabinet, etc) They are targed for the entry level, first time customer of a separate power amp" There is no denying that ATI makes good amps (everything I've read about them has been complementary), but it's a shame that an ATI dealer either (a) doesn't get his facts straight regarding some of the regular competition or (b) chooses to make stuff up to help get the sale. Oh, well. ------------------ gonk -- Saloon Links | Pre/Pro Comparison Chart | 950 Review

Mathew; its more of there pro line/I believe you have to call them. The AT3007, as the numerals imply is a 300watt per channel X 7 and sells for about$4,000. They also offer a AT3006(6channel), AT3005, AT2007(a 200watt X7 channels for around$3,000 and on down to 2 channels both 300/200 respectfully.. These amps come with a 7year warrenty and some, like the 2505 require a 30amp, hospital grade recepicle due to extreme power draw. If interested, givem a call. They also ofer mutizone amps and a really nice mono amp that will eat those Marantz amps. Its design is, as I recall, the same as found in the 1506/1504/1502. Those 3 amps are mono modules from this amp. I recall the price on those ATI mono amps to be under $500 and they are a heafty $300 watts each.

On their website I clicked on pricing...and that's who responded. I didn't notice whether it sent me to a different site or not. Have no idea who the dealer was. Thanks for checking into it Scott. It does sound like you are defensive. Your quality/price value is right up my alley. I probably couldn't hear the difference between ATI and Outlaw amps. My only real concern about the Outlaw is the weight(vs Rotel. I know it's less watts but my room is small. Thanks again for finding out that I was BS'd.
