I got a panamax 4300 to connect to the 12 trigger on the 950. Well, when I hook the two up using a mini mono(3.5) plug, the Panamax does not turn on when I power up the 950. Is there a way I can measure the DC current comming from the 950 to make sure it is working? I have a multimeter, but I'm not sure how to check this.

First ensure you are getting a good connection by twisting in both locations and push the connector in and out a few times.
I found the connection at the 4300 needed some 'working in'.
Makes sure the 4300 power button is ON all the time (pressed in).
With the trigger cable disconnected from the 4300 turn the 950 on with the green button, or remote (the power switch at the rear panel should always be ON) you should read 12 volts on the plug. The center tip will be positive (+)

Thanks Dale. This is what I did:
- Pluged to mini into the Main trigger on the outlaw.
- The main power is on, no the back.
- Pushed the green power button on the front.
- Touched the red terminal from the mutimeter to the tip of the mini plug, and touched the black terminal to the lower post of the mini.
- Have the DC on the multimeter set to the lowest(below 5).

The needle on the meter barely moves.

Any more ideas, or does it look like the Outlaw has a problem?

If the 950 is totally powered on there should be 12 volts out of that jack.
If not, either the 950 or the cable is bad.
Did you check the continuity of the cable, connector to connector?

WITH THE CABLE REMOVED!

Use the ohm, or resistance check. Use the lowest range, it should '0' (SHORT) for all practical purposes. Or if it has a continuity buzzer or light it should go on.

It should read open between the + and - . In otherwords make sure the cable is not shorted. Highly unlikely unless it was assembled hastily.
If it's ok, call Outlaw support before you start packing it up, they may advise other checks, etc.
