Thanks to all of you for your information. I have been lurking for a while trying to decide on a pre-pro. I recently purchased an Adcom GFA-7700 and am using a Denon 3600 for a pre-pro until I purchase a separate one. Has anyone run a 950 with new Adcom amps. I have been very happy with the clear effortless sound from the amp. Contrary to some forum members, I have had no problems of any kind with this amp and the sound is light years ahead of the Denon's. Thanks again for your replies.

I have the 7500 and it is wonderful. I have it with axiom speakers and sometimes I think they are a bit bright, them I figure out they are only clear and not muffled.

The 950 will eventually have a "big brother" -- more expensive, higher-end pre/pro -- but we have no idea of when that will appear. It won't be anytime real soon, and even after it arrives the 950 should be around for a while.
