Hi, finally hooked up my 950...all seemed fine, set to an FM station to be sure I had an audio signal, everything was fine. Went into speaker config and set all at large and set crossover at 80 hz. When I exited I no longer had any audio. I also have no audio from any components now. I reset the system and still nothing. Any suggestions?
Mike

Hi, Check your trigger cable on the back of the Outlaw if in use. If this has pulled loose while moving your system back in place you will loose all audio.
Hope thats the cuplprit! Simple, happened to me, ...sigh (love the quick fixes) back in business.

Lena, thanks for the reply but that's not it. The audio went out in the middle of speaker configuration and never came back. I hooked up a Marantz mono block to the center channel and still don't hear a peep. Any other suggestions? Mike

I just hooked up another preamp to my 7100 and got audio, so it's not the amp, the problem is the pre amp. Has anyone encoutntered something like this or did I just get a lemon?

Hi mikehdtv.
Sorry to hear about your problem- had this happen to me but thankfully it was the same thing that SLL had- the "loose trigger" syndrome.
Since you just installed your 950, I assume you just got it? If so, ggod news-- its under warranty, so bad news(because it means you can't use it now) send it back. Outlaw WILL take care of you.
Just wondering-- could a short somewhere have blown the 950's fuse??

Hello Mike,
Just to eliminate a potential "trigger" problem, please disconnect the trigger connection from both the pre-amp and the amplifier.
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks everyone for your replies. I contacted Mike at customer service and we went through every possible problem, reset, and configuration. No luck. He thinks the processing chip is locked up.
Now for the good news. In all my years of dealing with customer service of all types I must say Outlaw ranks among the best! Mike walked me through the process of checking the unit in a clear and direct manner. Once we determined the unit was defective he said he would Ship (via DHL) a new unit! Damn, this guy is an asset to Outlaw! I bought Outlaw based on reviews and their reputation for customer support, and I'm glad I did. Looks like I'm an Outlaw for life!
Outlaw you have my kudos! Mike
