According to the manual I should be able to go to Prologic IICR or Neo-6 with any analog source, ie CD Player, and receive sound thru the surrounds and back speakers.

When I do this I receive no sound thru surrounds or back. Am I misinterpreting the manual or is there something wrong with my unit?

By any chance are you trying to do this with the 6-channel bypass input? That's a straight pass-thru and CANNOT be run through the 950's surround processing.

If you have a two-channel source, plug it into one of the two-channel analog inputs and it should be possible to run DPL2 and DTS:Neo on it. If not, there's a problem.
