Can anyone suggest which product(s) is needed to hook up to the EXT REMOTE jacks, to control the 950 from the zone location(another room)

I haven't heard of many (any?) people here on the forum using the EXT REMOTE input on the 950, which is probably why this thread has been so quiet. Outlaw should be able to get you up and going -- I'd suggest an e-mail or phone call (1-866-688-5292).

FYI, I tried using the Recotton version of this same product (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/electronics/B00005T3XR/104-9391688-5173503) and it didn't work w/ the Outlaw. I emailed Scott and he said something about the language librarys probably weren't compatible.

I think you need to buy an entire Xantech or Niles distribution system, which can get pretty pricey (~$300 w/ all necessary accessories):

I'm considering just purchasing a RF remote control, like the upcoming Home Theater Master MX-800, which is supposed to be out mid-summer. I'm a little hesitant though, because I already have (and love) the $400 mx-700 remote and I don't want to replace it w/ a $800 remote...
