Heyaz! I ordered a 950 a couple of weeks ago & received it last Friday (no dot). So far I'm very pleased with it but I'm still getting oriented & tweaking.

Are the new units shipping with no dot? So far I haven't noticed any unusual hissing or humming with Klipsh RF3,RC3 and RB3 HT system but then again I haven't researched these forums enough to know how to properly test it.

TIA

Jeff

New units will not have a dot -- they only used the (red or blue) dots on replacement units. You are the proud owner of a "blue dot" type unit, but since it was not a replacement for an older unit it doesn't have a dot.

No dots on units shipped after Dec 17th, but you have the latest and greatest

Thade,

As Gonk and Soundhound have mentioned, there are no "blue-dots" on new units. This nomenclature was used for the replacement units only.
