I remember someone asking a while back if the 1050 will adequately drive Axiom's M80 speakers. I just bought the speakers, and have been very happy with how they work with the 1050. I have it switched to the 4ohm position per Outlaw tech support's recommendation. I ran it in the 8 ohm mode for a while and it seemed to work fine there as well.

I suppose more power may do a better job, but the 1050 seems to drive them just fine even at very loud volume playing very dynamic material. The bass is very strong, and I haven't had any clipping issues. BTW the speakers are great for the price. I upgraded from Paradigm Monitor 7's, a big improvement.

So, now that you have had the 1050 and the Axiom M80's for a while, how are things going?

Sorry for the loooong delay, I don't check this board much.

The M80's were OK with the 1050, but more power is better. I borrow a friends Threshold amp, 2 x150w. And it was a big improvement, so I ended up buying a used ARAGon 4004, 2 x 200W. Much better bass response, sounds great.
