I have this problem also. I haven't worried to much about it because the sub is always on but I was wondering if this is a common problem.

The mains need to be set to large before the sub can be turned off (so the LFE info has someplace to go).

Thanks Gonk and all who responded. I sent the same message directly to Outlaw Tech support and promptly received the same thing Gonk said, speakers on large for SW to be able to be switched off.
