How well does the 950 handle HDTV? Does it hav a problem having both Component cables and S-Video Cables? (My Satelite TV will use S Video , The DVD player would use component, My cheapo VCR will use composite and I am fully aware of the issues there)

Thanks
TPS

Component video switching is completely independent from the S-video/composite video switching on the 950 (you would need to switch your TV between the component input and S-video input). The two component inputs are assigned to the DVD and Video1 inputs, as I recall, so you could hook the DVD up via both S-video and component and the 950 wouldn't care -- both signals would be passed separately to the respective monitor outs. From what I've read here, the component video switching does fine.

I haven't noticed any problems with switching between progressive DVD (RP-91) and my HDTV tuner via the 950 FWIW.
