I can't put up my Outlaw until Xmas. I also bought all new speakers (5.1). Is the rear center speaker worth getting now or should I wait? Does it make that much of a difference?
Examples please?

The rear center channel is most dramatic on Dolby EX source material (see Dolby web site for a list of titles) which were made with a center rear channel (6.1) in mind. The 1050 however can often extract material from a non EX 5.1 DVD. The amount depends a lot on the DVD. The rear channel produces a more enveloping effect on many DVDs.

If you're thinking about doing it, and you'll be tearing apart the room for the rest of the system anyway, I'd say go for it. I really enjoy the sixth channel. Some very noticeable instances in The Matrix, but it's especially great in Phantom Menace. Also a definite plus in Gladiator.

Additionally, I think more and more movies coming out will make use of the channel and you'll be happy you have it.

Can't wait for Monsters, Inc. and the "door chase" scene!

THnks guys. That answered my question. I'll pick up another center speaker next week.
Does the center speaker have to be the same size as the front center speaker. I bought the JBL's 135's.(all small speakers) THinking about getting the JBL N or S center speaker.

A lot of people actually use a surround speaker for the center surround (partially because it's easier to mount on a wall than a center channel).

Yep. My rear center matches my front surrounds.
