yeah, for about 5 seconds if i feel like turning it bright red! lol

i keep my 1050 in a cabinet on the top shelf and have about 4" of clear space above it. my 1050 gets VERY warm to the touch after about 1-2 hours of playing. the door can be closed or open, makes no difference to the units temperature.

the top of the cabinet gets very warm to the touch and it is 1" thick!

now keep in mind i also have a tendency to have the 1050 on for hours on end. i use it any time the tv is on, whether i am watching a dvd, tv or a tape.

i wish i had a simple way to see what the temperature of the unit itself was, don't have an ir temp probe like i used to for my race car.
