Any idea how to get the code for Outlaw 1050 so that I can use the Tivo remote to control volume of 1050? Tive says to do a "search" for the codes but of course, offer no help in where to search...thanks...

Most universal remotes (all of the ones that I'm aware of, specifically) do not include a code for the 1050. Some other Tivo users around here may have some tricks that I'm aware of, but I haven't heard of anyone succeeding in getting a Tivo remote to control the 1050. Sorry.

In programming my Home Theater Master MX-700 remote, I found that using the device code for the 950 enables the remote to control most but not all (frustrating) of the functions of the 1050. Source selection was particularly wierd, but volume worked fine.

Thanks for the reply...only problem is that Tivo doesn't recognize Outlaw at all, 950 or 1050, or any others...but thanks much...
