Please, someone post or e-mail the Hex code for the "SAT" souce button on the outlaws remote from your Pronto / RC 5000.
I can't get the ProntoNeo I just purchased to learn any of the source buttons on the Outlaws remote.
The solution I found is a little program called Pronto2NeoConverter from RemoteCentral.com. You insert the Hex Code for a specific button learned by the Pronto TSU 1000 or 20000 (RC 5000) and it converts it into ProtoNeo code for you. I will then use NeoHacker to insert the code into the .ncf file on the ProntoNeo. My problem is I have only found one .ccf file on the internet for the 95O, and the one button I need ( SAT ) has a corrupt Hex. Please copy and paste this for me.

Thanks in advance,
Robert Barker

I found the IR/Hex code for the "DVD" Source button from a .ccf I found for the 950 earlier today. I just got done using Neo2Pront then NeoHacker. It worked!!! Man I'm happy! I only need the IR/Hex for the "Sat" button now. This can be either from a RC 5000, TSU 1000 or 2000. Someone, anyone, please pony up the Hex.

Thanks,
Robert

Yes, This is the .ccf I found. The IR/Hex code for the "SAT" button is corrupt. Not to say it doesn't work on that persons remote, but when I try to convert it using Neo2ProntoConverter the Hex has to many duplicates (is to long) to convert. The Hex/IR for all the other buttons in that .ccf work great.

The other thing I can use is someones .ccf file, if they are willing to e-mail it to me.

Thank you,
Robert Barker

I will try it tonight and let you know what happens. Once I have everyting complete I will upload my .ncf to remotecentral so the next guy doesn't have this problem. Thanks to everyone for their help!

It Worked!!! Thank you very much. When I get more time I'm going to create a full .ncf of the 950 and post it to remotecentral.com so no one else has this problem. My wife and I thank you!

Robert,

I'm considering asking Santa for a Pronto Neo for Christmas, but was concerned about problems I have heard about the Neo 'learning' IR remote codes. Did you have any problems, other than the Outlaw source buttons? And....did you upload your .ncf file for the 950 to Remote Central yet???

Yes, I did have problems getting the Neo to learn seveal buttons off the 950's remote. The work around was to use pronto2neo converter and NeoHacker. Both can be found on remotecentral.com.
No, I have not had a chance to make a full .ncf file for the 950, but when I do it will be uploaded. I create the buttons as I need them. Keep my e-mail, and if you do decide to get the Neo I will be more than happy to e-mail you the .ncf I do have.
