I've checked all the postings here, tried all codes suggested and all the web site suggestions but still can't get the 1050 remote to recognize my NAD T571 DVD changer. It works for my NAD C370 amp and C440 tuner. You see, I'm actually using an MX-500 remote for my Outlaw 1050 and complete HT system. I've recently set up a second 2 channel music system in the living room with the above mentioned components and Silverline Audio Sonatina II speakers. I have two different remotes for my components and was hoping to consolidate by using the 1050 remote. I also have an email out to NAD, but would appreciate any help here.

The T571 is fairly new, so if NAD changed the codes they use much it will not be in there.

I'm a little curious, though -- you've got an MX500 remote (which is in several ways superior to the remote included with the 1050). It could learn all of the commands for the T571 and the 1050, allowing you to completely replace the 1050's remote, and it supports macros. I'm wondering why you are replacing the MX500 with the 1050's remote, or if I've completely mis-read what you are attempting to do with the 1050's remote.

Actually, I love the MX-500 and am using it with absolutely no problems in my HT setup with the 1050, cable box, Toshiba DVD & TV, and Panasonic VCR.
Since I have had the 1050 remote lying around and set up a second audio only system in the LR I thought I would use that remote to replace the two NAD remotes for the C370 amp and T571DVD player. I've been able to get the amp and tuner to respond to the 1050 remote but not the T571 . . . Thanks for your reply. As soon as I hear something from NAD, if I do, I'll post it here.

Aah. That makes excellent sense. Let us know how it turns out.
