My rear amp 300w just bit the dust. I have fairly power hungry speakers. I have a seperate amp for the fronts and subs, so I don't want to go to a 755 just yet. I might want to take the Phase Linear 400 that I am using for the subs right now and use it for the back and by a new or used amp for the subs (Two 15 inch). I need something around 200w per channel, new or used.

meangene:
you might take a look at these. the world series stewart amps have won every design innovation award out there over the past 5 years. i would consider connecting your subs in parallel, and running the 600 in bridged mode (600 watts @ 4 ohms). it will kick butt, and is a decent $ value. small, powerful and great for just about any use...especially bass.

Thanks for the info, I will take a look at them. While I have your attention, I am thinking of replacing the 15" drivers in my 2 subs. Do you have any recommendation for this as well? I should mention that the subs are 3.5 cu. ft. and the drivers are down firing.

meangene: i found a driver that specs like a tyranosaurus in your box. it's spendy, but you could probably sell one of your subs and just use one.
115db @ 20hz, and it's doing the backstroke.
600 watts all day long. very tight and musical.

e-mail me and i'll send you the specifics.
