Got mine yesterday about 4pm PST.

More UPS gripes. In a sealed, fairly sound proof house, I heard the UPS guy DROP the box on my concrete step before he rang the bell (and dashed madly back to his truck before being forced to endure contact with a human). Opened the door, it's there on its side.

No damage though.

Outlaw MIGHT want to consider adding FRAGILE - ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT to the sides of their box!? Would love to hear the reason they haven't.

It's all hooked up and working nicely though, so no harm, no foul, I guess.

I had a few friends that worked for UPS, the fragile marking is nothing more than an invitation to a bunch of bored people.

There are four icons on the side of the box which I would interpret as "Keep this side facing upwards," "Handle this box carefully," "Don't get this wet," and "We put this number nine here with two underlines to confuse and annoy you."

Just curious, how do people know their place in the reservation line? Did earlier reservations come with a number in the confirmation?

I received my confirmation for the waitlist on 1/10/2002 with no further details, so I know I am further back on the list.

You should eventually receive an e-mail with directions on how to place your actual order (give them a credit card number, address, etc.) -- that address will include a username for the order page that will be a number. That's the number people have been referring to.
