With my cd played hooked up to the right and left of the 5.1 input, to get cd direct, it doesn't matter whether I set the fronts to large or small, or what crossover setting I use, because those are bypassed, right? Thanks for the advice. Dave

You are correct, drw. The 5.1 input is a pure analog bypass, so bass management settings are ignored.
