Hi Everyone, When I use the remote to turn the signal from the 1050 to my subwoofer on or off, it also changes the speaker mode to the 'theater mode'. What can be done so that the speaker mode does NOT change when I turn the signal to the sub on/off?!
TIA

I noticed that also. I turn my sub off and set my fronts to large when I listen to music, since my front speakers go down very low (~28hz). For movies, I turn the sub back on to protect my speakers and my 1050 from overload.
I have my remote programmed to do this with one push, but as you say, it leaves the 1050 in surround mode for that input.
An idea, switch to an unused input before swapping your sub on/off. I'll have to try this tonight since I just thought of it. If it works, I'll program it into the remote.

Zacster, Can you tell me how you programmed your remote. Did you do this for stereo listing?. Thanks Originally posted by zacster: I noticed that also. I tried the idea of switching first to an unused input. That does work! I've re-programmed my subwoofer on/off macro to always switch to an unused input, run through the speaker config, then switch back to whichever input was being used. I used JP1 and phantom keys to do this, so if you don't have a cable it won't be possible.

Zacster:
Can the 1050 remote do Macros? If so, how? I have it programmed to operate my whole system, but your post suggests Macro capability. Thanks, Jeff.
