I have a question for any Canadians who are lucky enough to have a 950 already.

How much did the unit cost to get it to your front door in Canadian funds (all taxes, duties and shipping included)?

I would also like to know what province you are from to get an idea of how much the provincial sales tax portion was (because I am lucky enough not to have any in Alberta).

I would prefer to have a 950 but unfortunately the bottom line does matter. With the crappy exchange rate on the loonie I don't know if it will fit my budget and right now I can get a pretty good deal on a Rotel 1066.

It will be a while for the dust to settle and my CC bill to come in but here is what I figure so far:

900 US + 25 US delivery = $925 US you pay to outlaw

That is $1,453.92 CDN add $55.15 brokerage fee

then add federal and provincial taxes (for me that is 7% and 8%)

Making the grand total for my 950 be $1735.43 CDN

Now do not ask about the 770...I am trying to avoid thinking about it!

thats about right, almost double the $899 price. Darn taxes.... they don't even make the 950 here nor are we buying from here yet add 15% tax and $50+ for paperwork and duty if applicable.
