Come on Outlaw how much longer do we have to wait? We all have cash in hand and your slowly letting us all slip away.

I too wish we would hear something very soon,
as I am starting to lose interest.

I agree 100% with drewman. I am staring to lose interest. Think I may go out this weekend to listen to a few pre/pros. Sure, the 950 seems like a great deal but I'm starting to think it will be eternal vaporware. Very disappointing.

You only need about $7000 for the Lexicon!

Really guys I don't know why you are so impatient, you've only been waiting 2 years

I have decided that since this looks like a bargain, I will give them until Valentines day to start shipping. If they haven't started to ship by then, then I will assume they have suckered us all and go out and buy an Integra RDC-7, or see what kind of reports the new Cinepro, which should be out about then, is getting.

I think at this stage that no news is really irratating me.

Scott was nice enough to email a response to me a few days ago that said they will be shipping within 30 days, but at this point I will beleive it when I see it.

I guess after being told it's just around the corner many, many ,many, many times that I'm starting to get cynical :tu:

Wow, audiophiles are even more impatient then software geeks

I havent been waiting so long, but it is getting annoying since I basically have nothing as buffer. That and I already bought my new tv and dvd player.....

Well, a lot of people have been waiting since October or even earlier. After all, wasn't the "original" ship date back in August? Then October, then Thanksgiving, then Hannukah, then Christmas, then 1st week January, then end of January, now who knows...

I'm suprised I haven't burned the "latest news" page into my screen, I look at it so often looking for any kind of update. I'm getting really antsy here and I so is the buyer I have lined up for my receiver that I'm currently using as a pre/pro. I'm starting to explore other options and I'm not sure how much longer I can wait.

And would anyone else besides me like an explanation of the P2000 Pre/Pro? Did this have something to do with the 950 being delayed?

I'm one of the people who just couldn't wait for the 950 anymore, and pulled the trigger on a used Lexicon DC-1 v4.0.

I found it for $1188 (you might have seen the listing on Audiogon), and couldn't be happier. The sound is terrific in both HT and music, and the setup options are first-rate. (The lack of component connectors doesn't bother me as my EAD DVD feeds right into my TV.) Those of you who can't wait might want to go the same route.
This isn't meant to denigrate Outlaw in any way, as they make terrific stuff (I'm the proud owner of a 750 amp), but I thought I'd share my experiences in case any of you were curious and not willing to wait anymore.
