We'll i'm finallly back in the States after a long stint stationed oversea's. I was on the original waiting list but had to pack up and couldn't afford the 950 and picked up a H/K AVR 520 instead. Now I'm ready to go back on the list. Just wanted you 950 owners to tell hell yeah it's great, you won't regret going to seperate's, this is the best bang for the buck pre-amp on the market!! you know what I mean. I'll be using the 950 with Klipsch speakers and Acurus power amps if that help's either way.

Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig, and welcome back! Yep, you should get back on the list and heck yes, it's a great pre/pro and no- you won't regret owning the 950. I don't own Klipsch speakers or Acurus amps, so can't speak to the sound, but it's got to be good. Glad to hear you've got something to work with while you wait.

Just finished listening to the final American Idol show on my Outlaw 950 with (FYI) Aragon-amped fronts; Carver-amped surrounds (7.1); NHT 2.5's Center 1 and 1.5's; and SVS 20/39 subwoofer.

Even though the theater IS just across town, the sound system PUT ME IN the Kodak Theater for this final performance. I had "in the room" clarity for the voices and all the realistic ambience possible with Neo:6 and DPL2 (tried them all for various numbers. DPL2-M+Cirrus worked best in this case.)

It's really a wonderful pre/pro. You'll be very glad you went to separates.

Cball,
First, if you're being stationed overseas had anything to do with Enduring Freedom,

THANK YOU !!!!!!

Second, I'm putting complete faith in Outlaw and it's current 950 customers. Their reviews, advise, and insight keep me going.

I'm on the wait list (still). I rarely buy the "first" of anything. I wait to buy new designs of anything (cars, trucks, etc.) so that the manufacturer can work out any bugs in the initial production. There are almost always problems that come to light after the product starts to move. That's partially why I waited to reserve a 950. I wasn't surprised that there were problems...that's typical in a new design....I was surprised at the amount of time it took to fix it.
Anyways, it appears fixed, and I will be pairing the 950/770 with a Klipsch/SVS system.

We'll thanks for all the support. But every single person with an I.D. card is fighting against terrorism, wherever assinged, what ever branch of service, here in the states or overseas. But it's nice to be appreciated Thanks Anyhow I'll be putting my name back on the list here in a few minutes.

Cball,

Considering the circumstances, I think it's only fair we get you your old place back in line.

Scott
