Got my email & replied with credit card # etc. How long does it take before they ship. I went with the DHL instead of ground ship UPS. I saw on another forum that Atlantic Technology is selling the same unit as the 950 with their name on it for $1699.

The ATI pre/pro has a monitor, so it can't be identical. Do you remember where you saw that info?

Was not the ATI, was Atlantic Technology. Go to their website it is the P2000, I emailed them for the price was $1699. Same unit without the green button.

They've been pretty busy ("swamped" might be a better way of putting it) in the shipping department, but I'd suspect that DHL would get it today or tomorrow. As werner52 can tell you, having it ship out today is not a certainty.

The Atlantic Tech P2000 is a clone of the 950 (one of several that will eventually appear, apparently) with a different faceplate. It will sell through traditional brick and mortar retail channels. I think the MSRP has changed a bit during the course of the year; the $1699 may be right at the moment, but many vendors will likely charge less than that. Outlaw and Eastech (the manufacturer) have an agreement that does not allow any of the clones to hit the market until the 950 has been available for a certain amount of time, so I don't think the P2000 will be showing up on shelves until late this year at the earliest.

Ordered mine about 10:00 Sept 11, got it about 9:00 this morning. It was coming all the way across the country from CA to NC. Less than 24 hour turnaround. Not to shabby I would say.

I won't be able to hook it up until Saturday but should be a fun weekend.
