I received my confirmation e-mail on August 29 to receive a replacement unit but haven't seen any signs of it yet. I know some others have already received theirs so I was wondering if there were others who were also still waiting. Please post when you received your confirmation e-mail as well. Thanks.

I got mine today but do not turn on,I think I have to wait another week for my second replacement.To be honest I may keep the one with hiss that I have for few month.

I received my email on 9-03-02, at 12:31pm. It read that I would receive a free exchange unit in a few days. And it arrived late this afternoon. I must tell you that my old 950 did have a slight hiss issue. This evening I had another Outlaw owner named youngguns and a friend over to listen to them both. The old 950 and the new. The three of us heard the same thing, the new 950 was very quite, we did not hear a thing, even with it turned all the way up. Even at less than foot away, inchs even. I beleive they finally did it, And to think I almost didnt ask for a exchange 950, now I am very glad I did. We did agree that the highs did not seem as harsch on some select music as they did on the old 950, this we all liked.

I missed mine this afternoon because I was out at a meeting. Sigh.

And the meeting was a complete waste of time.

I received an email from Scott back on the 5th saying they had enough to cover folks who had requested a hiss-fixed unit in the month before. He said that in a few days, he'd have enough units to take care of the rest of us too.

I'm guessing mine is in the mail... maybe today?

Hi Merc, I was one of the people that had requested a hiss-free unit the month before. I just got a tracking number yesterday and my unit will arrive next week. I'm not sure why people who got e-mail confirmation later than I did got their units earlier but at least I now have confirmation that one is being shipped to me.

This morning, I got an email from Outlaw with my tracking number... mine is gonna be here tomorrow!!! Then I'll get to see which one I'm gonna like better too!
