UPS tried to deliver mine on Monday but I missed them. Got it yesterday and just connected it into the system (Man. What a lousy job that is. I always forget from one time to the next....)

Seems to work very nicely and to be quiet. As others have observed, I have to calibrate my system a little hotter to get to reference levels -- about a 2-3dB difference in onscreen values.

And, for fellow anal-retentives, the refitted unit was just like new. Flawless.

I may have some observations on sound after I've spent some time with the system. Right now, I'm still in the "well, it works and I think everything is connected properly" phase.

My red dot 950 got here late yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, I am so busy today that I will probably not get to hook it up till tonight or this weekend at the earliest.

I can't wait!

So Merc, how long do you guys get before you have to send one of them back?
