Merc, I have 5, er 3 questions:

1) Did you establish how or why you are blowing the fuse?
2) Do you find it disconcerting that you have had to change the fuse 3 times? I can't remember ever having to change a fuse in any of my AV gear.
3) Wouldn't you void the warranty by opening the box?
