So I get my mail today and find my Sept issue of Sound and Vision and, there it is, a custom installation using our long awaited 950! Are you outhere somewhere? Your unit must be performing well since its been the chosen control center of , what appears , to be a fine HT setup. For those that havent seen it, its on page 92 of the Sept issue. I gotta say, It looks really nice in the concealed component rack, and its nice to see the product working its way into custom HT application for ALL to see!!

Interesting that the "Outlaw Team" saw this article in S&V , but, apparently, none of you gunslingers have since a big "0" responded to this thread!

I'd rather see the rig in MY living room. I've already seen it on paper.

Somebody else saw it (see Benjamin King's post near the end of this thread regarding the 7100).

Oh, and for those of us without a copy of S&V, try this link to their 950 review .

My ht is the one featured in Sound & Vision this month. Yes Everett, the 950/770 does look great in the rack and performs equally as well. Before making a pre-amp & amp purchase I researched many units and I felt the 950/770 combo was the best choice for my home theater application and definitely for my wallet. Sure, I could have spent more money to purchase a higher end (maybe) model. But, when selecting components for my ht I weighed the benefits of spending more money to what additional features or performance I was going to receive. In the end, the Outlaw 950/770 combo offered the best value with the features and performance I wanted and needed in my home theater. And I haven’t regretted choosing the Outlaw 950 & 770 at all.

Thank you,

Thanks for your reply. Its great to know the unit is delivering the goods as promised. I think for those, like myself, who are still on the waiting list, its just the type of information we want to hear! The recent issues with hissing units/audio dropouts and other issues has made some of us a little hesitant to hang in there, especially when there are some fine units like Rotel and, the soon to be, Newcastle processor. Thanks again, and to the other gunslingers out there....
