That quote is from a July 17th post.

If moving from 99.9% complete to 99.99% complete (a change of 0.09%) takes 37 days then the remaining .01% should only take four days, two hours and 40 minutes. So they should be shipping by August 27, 7:41 PM.

I sure hope so! I let Scott talk me into the 770 this morning to go with my 950 I placed on the reservation list a couple of weeks ago. It should be here tomorrow and I don't think I can stand waiting for too long for that 950.
I know. It's been a long time coming and I'm sure it's worth the wait. I'm just not getting any younger is all.

Bill- You'd still have to wait for:

1) All the current owners who want to swap their units to get new ones, and,

2) All of the people ahead of you on the waiting list to get theirs.

Might be a while.

That's ok, I've been watching all this since last October and understand all the potholes they've incountered along the way. I can be patient. Besides, I'll have my 770 this afternoon and I can use my 1050 pre-outs on it until my 950 number comes up. Once they resume shipping, I expect another month or so wait, but that's ok.

I'm tickled with my 1050, but I'm definitely looking forward to the upgrade. Life is short, but I'll be happy if this is a Christmas present to myself. Beyond that, there is always the Rotel 1066.
