I am considering purchasing a 1050 but am concerned how to solve the problem of turning on/off my Phase Linear 400 power amp when the 1050 does not have a switched AC outlet. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I have a Monster Power HTS 2500II ($170 new), which has 10 outlets and provides surge protection, noise filtering, and immediate and delayed turn-on of other equipment. Other Monster Power items at varying prices do the same thing. (See http://www.monstercable.com.) Many here have Panamax and like that brand better, but it is more expensive. Either product has benefits beyond just adding a switched outlet, and would be worth the investment.

Thanks for you help. I already protect my equipment with a UPS so I am wondering is there is a lower cost alternative?
