Anyone know where the bass would go if i set the 950 up for small fronts, rear large surrounds, & no subwoofer? I plan on 3 new matching fronts, but move my great old tower DBX Soundfield VI for the rear surrounds. They have 15" passive subwoofers, so that would take care of all the bass. But only if the 950 routes all the bass to the rears.

I haven't checked the manual, but can you even set to large surrounds with mains set to small?

...or is it possible to sub-off with fronts set to small???? Needs research.

From what I've seen, you can't turn the sub channel off if ANY of the other speakers are set to small...
