who is a recording engineer..who swears by Vandersteen...I've heard them...and agree..just
want the right receiver..to power them...don't really want the heavily marketed ones...The other i like is an Integra..know anything about
those?

Onkyo makes the Integra... it's their higher end stuff.... kinda like Nissan and Infinity....

Try the 1050 for 30 days with your Vandersteen's,it will make you a believer!!Also call Richard Vandersteen if you have any questions,he is a very honest man!

Yes he took some time to explain somethings and the reasons why he design his speakers the way he does,Mr.Vandersteen is pretty much set on his philosophy for surround sound,and it works....

I'm having my friend check with him..thanks again...I'll probably get the speakers..right after April 1...and the receiver before..I'm going to hook the 1050 into my system...and see the difference...
