I was wondering if many people use the pre-outs on the 1050. I was wondering if they work just as well as the pre-outs on the 950 and if they soound as good.

I think it's fairly common. My 1050 was paired up with a Model 750 amp for about half of the time I had it in my system (little over a year and a half). The pre-amp outputs work just fine. The sound from the 1050 as a pre-amp is not quite on the same level as the 950, but it is still quite respectable.

Thanks Gonk I was also wnondering if they have more distortion than the 950. Just wanted to know some things before I buy one.
