after a month of research and listening to many receivers (even purchasing a marantz 6200 and returning it due to problems) i decided to go with the 1050. at first i was a little hesitant since i live in canada and it's a pain to return if i don't like it. boy am i glad the marantz didn't work out because the 1050 is by far the best audio purchase i have made so far. i am now a huge outlaw fan and will definately be a long time outlaw. thanks for all of the great advice in the forums.
am i glad the marantz didn't work out The way you worded appears you might be indicating a glitchy unit returned. And while I think Marantz has some good units, - personally I much prefer the 'Outlaw sound' over all of the current Marantz line.
