Yea ,I guess will just have to settle for the best deal in the buisness for a pre-pro,and performs like a top of the line Lexicon, without that Logo being backlit.I think we can manage,I know I can!

Heh-heh... I don't sense any sarcasm from you two, do I? Anyway, it's looking like the 950 will be a great piece of gear (a couple of setting quirks, perhaps, but considering all that the 950 appears to be achieving it shouldn't be surprising that there are a couple of quirks somewhere in it). I just yesterday got some electrical issues at the house fixed up, so I'm all ready for the 950 to arrive.

Gonk, you own a 1050,are your speaker levels the same for every input and DSP mode?Jeff, one of the beta testers seemed to imply that speaker levels are universal, global or something like that.I my opinion you should be able to set your levels differant for each mode and input if you chose or to properly calibrate your system with a spl meter.I dont use the same levels in Pro Logic as I do in Dolby Digital.I e-mailed Scott to get some confirmation on this and will post when I hear back.

The speaker levels are the same for all inputs/DSP modes. To be honest, I have never noticed any need to adjust the settings for different modes, but that's just me (and most of the "serious" surround sound stuff I do is DD or DTS -- and I calibrated it via SPL meter for DD).

There's a clearer picture of the 950 remote up now, by the way. FYI.
