I hope the 950 comes out this week. I have been patiently waiting for a while now and I have the upgrade itch. I have been looking at speakers, DVD players, SACD players, but I keep telling myself to wait for the 950. It should be any day now. I reserved it on Dec. 14, so I should be able to get one of the first ones.

I'm giving Outlaw about 2 more weeks to give me some sort of sign. My plasma arrives this week and I'm getting giddy....... What do you guys think about the Anthem AVM 20?....it's a bit pricier but I've read great things about it. I still believe the 950 will be the best bang for the buck, but the Anthem is probably second in line (IMHO), it seems pretty loaded. I'm just not sure the extra $1000++ is worth it, but the wait is getting the best of me. I think I pre-ordered mid January so it still may be months before I get the 950....It would be real nice to know where my order is in the queue. I won't be able to look at that Plasma with (no sound) very long before I break down and buy a comparable yet more expensive unit.......in the event I do I was wondering if you guys recommended any alternatives.

I am also impatiently waiting. You may want t do the same thing I did. Pick up a cheap but decent reciever for a few hundred bucks until the 950 is ready to arrive at your door. It is almost March so I am looking forward to some more news from the Outlaws soon.

I agree with stott, get a receiver to tide you over. My 1050 should be here this week. When I get my 950 I will move the 1050 into the bedroom to replace the old JVC prologic unit.
