I have a DTC-100. I can check the menus on my STB, to see if any thing tied to language could alleviate. Now Joes got me comtemplating the issue again.

I tried the language solution but nothing changed. I've since talked to other people about this and they claim what I'm hearing is normal. HDTV is supposed to clean all this up.

All in all, this has not really been that big a deal. At least I know it's not my system (which was my main concern). Most things sound great. I'm especially pleased with the way music sounds with my 1050.

Now, back to enjoying my system. I have an Hsu VTF-2 sub that sounds great and I think I'm going to order Axiom speakers this week.
