i saw some stuff there, but the one thing i saw that you might be talking about i couldnt really see what it had/was. i didnt spend hardly (5-10$) anything on my platform, and i am pretty satisfied with it. well as satisfied as i can be from a stand, i.e. it serves its purpose.
i dont really buy into the idea of spending so much money or accessories for your system (like that site has a bunch of), unless you have the $ and a theatre room (designed for theatre during construction). a lot of times that stuff is a waste, excessive room treatments, like rubber feet, bridges for your cables, etc. some things serve a functional purpose, but there is a lot out there that is just around to make $$$$$.
im not really a hardcore diyer, but if you can get exactly what you need and do it cheaply by doing it yourself (oh, and it is relatively straightforward), then why not. it only adds to the fun and interest in your system have one ofs.
