Just began setup of audio equipment in different room. During my subwoofer checkout I noticed that the LFM's power indicator was red. First checked to make sure I had the power toggle in correct position (middle). Then checked to make sure that the other positions in the toggle worked correctly and they both passed. I thought maybe the upgrade to the pre-pro cause an issue with the sub-out and it might be dead, not the case. So, turned off the amp to the speakers just leaving the pre-pro and sub powered. Amazingly, the sub is working however the LED never changes from red to green. Is this not that big of an issue or could I be on my way to larger problems with my sub? Any help, ideas appreciated.

Thanks,

Ced

It sounds like you are getting output from the sub even though the light on the amp stays red all the time, right? That's rather curious. I guess it couldn't hurt to call or e-mail Outlaw and let them comment on it.

Thanks for the reply gonk. Left a message before I posted, still waiting to hear back. I'll update the list if this turns out to be something truly special.

And yes, there is output from the sub. Works like a charm, just no light change.

Update....

My problem disappeared. Shortly after playing the first DVD through the system since the move the LED began working as it should for all sources. There appears to be no issue with the sound or the unit so all is good in cedmanville.

Now off to play....
