Long time, no speak. The new subwoofer looks very good and I can't wait to get my hands on one. I'm going to move my existing PowerCube into my office, mate it with some Rocket bookshelves, and put the LFM-1 into my HT system. I'll tell you how it works out.

Well, I do not have mine yet. Thought I might get one before Christmas. No such luck. Has anyone heard anything?

Short reply as things here are busy BUT I received my LFM-1 today ( was quite surprised ) and have it hooked up. I have only done a very simple calibration but could not resist getting it connected. Also, please realize I have limited subwoofer experience and reference points ( have never heard an SVS, HSU, etc ). But, here goes:

It's fairly big though not huge. The plexi top looks very attractive and it also passed the girlfriend test for aesthetics.

How does it sound? IN technical terms.. simply WOW. The Two Towers has never sounded so good. The bass is very strong and deep but never boomy sounding. I've also played afew cd's with it and it perfomrs just as well with music in bypass mode as it does with HT. It easily shakes my walls, and on moderately loud settings ( -20 db on my 950 volume ) it makes my sofa vibrate when the deeper bass sections occur. I was a little concerned about musicality since I love 2 channel music as much as HT and thus far there is no signs of boominess at all, but it does have very powerful, strong, deep bass. Yes, I'm happy thus far. More to post after I have had a chance to play with it more but for now it's a very incredible beginning!

I can't believe someone has one already. I have not heard anything and I got on the wait list very early......I thought.
Glad to hear it sounds good, but am disappointed mine did not arrive before Christmas.

I got mine on the 23rd as well. Fedex delivered it at about 6:00pm. I received an email that afternoon saying it had been shipped. When I checked the tracking information I found that it had shipped back on the 17th (I ordered it on Friday the 12th) and was scheduled to arrive that day. Needless to say I did not bother putting this one under the tree. I quickly hooked it up replacing my old AR subwoofer and played The Dark Side Of The Moon SACD. I now know how this CD was ment to sound and all I can say is the LFM-1 rocks!

About 7 minutes past 9:00 (central time) the first day it was available.

Do any of you folks who have gotten your LFM-1 have a digicam? Would love to see some pics.
