I was set to pull the trigger on a 950/7100 combo, but got sidetracked and purchased a Rotel RSP 1066. In truth, the deciding factor moving me toward the Rotel was the appearance (Yeah, I know, I'm a truly deep individual). Nonetheless, I'm still leaning toward purchasing the 7100. I was wondering if anyone is running a 7100/Rotel combo? If so, is there any downside to my mix and match plans?

Hey Bretmad, I was in the same boat where I was considering a Rotel 1066 but ended up going with the 950/7100 combo. You should have absolutely no problem combining the two. That's the beautiful thing about using seperates, it allows you to mix and match to suit your own tastes.

No problem unless the 7100 doesnt suit your tastes as far as appearance goes...
