I have a Multi zone home automation controller that requires a multi zone amplifier, the only question I have is about cables. On the back of the controller there are left and right RCA outputs, but on the back of the 7100 there only appears to be a single input (not a left & right) Is there a special cable needed for this?

The Model 7100 has seven RCA inputs -- left, right, center, left surround, right surround, left rear surround, and right rear surround. Each input has an associated set of speaker cable binding posts below it. While it is not necessary to use each channel of the amp for the suggested speaker ("center" channel for the center speaker, for example), it is easier to keep track of things.
