In a couple posts in that thread, I mention many of the considerations I faced at the time I was choosing between 7 200's or one 770. Back when I was making the choice, the Outlaws did not have their current 'buy some, get some free' promotion on the 200's. This promotion is definitely a help to you!

If in your situation buying several 200's would not bend the budget out of shape compared to some savings with the 7100 approach, and if having the extra wattage helps with peace of mind, then it seems the 200's are the way for you to go. If funds are tight, I think you'll find that the 7100 is no slouch.
