For over a year I've been looking for a good amp to drive my Cerwin Vega E715's. Although they can be driven to loud levels with my current Pioneer A88X 120wpc power amp, it seems to lack the punch that these speakers are made for. Would two model 200's be a good upgrade?

Don't know about that particular model of Cerwin Vega, but the one thing Cerwin Vegas are known for is for being high efficiency speakers and for being able to reproduce very loud sound levels with reasonably low power. I can't imagine them not being already extremely loud with 120 W/ch. What's your day job: jackhammer operator? Artilery man? Deck crew on an aircraft carrier?

Going to the Outlaw 200s will get you less than another 3dB in output (my guess based on power ratings alone) - but at least at the excruciating levels then produced they'll probably sound cleaner - if your ears don't wax-up in self-defence first!
