This is really stupid, but something I have wondered to excess about: The used 1050 I bought is supposed to be about 2 years old, and it is black. Are newer 1050s gray? If so, when did the switch take place? What color are the other current Outlaw products (see, already I have upgradeitus).

A matte black that can look gray in the right lighting. No change there.

All the photos of the 1050 look grey don't they. I was very surprised when my 1050 arrived and was black. Mine is only a few months old so there has been no color change. So you have no excuse to upgrade yet, keep looking

Thanks, you guys. My idea about a color change came from one of the reviews I read. Actually, rather than getting rid of my 1050, I was contemplating what from Outlaw I could add to it, and whether it would match color-wise. Not sure an ICBM or m-200 would be sensible--probably should save for Outlaw separates.
