Does anyone know of a good rack system that will hold seven monoblocks and a few other components? I'm looking for something that will look nice in a living room.
Thanks.

The NHT amplifier is the same size and their rack mount ears fit the M200. The holes line up and the ears come with black screws. The web site to order the ears is: http://ww1.onecall.com/PID_16214.htm I would put one blank rack mount filler panel (maybe ones with holes for air circulation) between each amplifier. I would use the one rack mount space panel, 1.75", which is the same heigth as the M200. You can get them from www.markertek.com. The panels are made by Middle Atlantic Products Inc. www.middleatlantic.com Middle Atlantic also makes and sells through dealers a rack mount shelf with front cutout for the Outlaw 950. I have one of these and it is great. I also have the rack mount ears for the M200 and they are great. Good luck.

Actually, if you're interested, I have three rack shelves from Middle Atlantic that I'm not using. I bought them from MA for a rack I built, then decided I didn't need them and they're just sitting around in their boxes. If you're interested, drop me a line and we can discuss. Jeff

Hey this is great info. Any recommendations for the actual rack? I have the 7 amps, the 950, cd media, and a mp3 media player. I'd like to fit all that stuff in a rack that will look good in a home and maybe have a little extra room for another component for future use. Thanks!

Unlike most racks, the Slim-5 can be knocked down and shipped flat. Less cost in shipping, and a heck of a lot easier to move in and out. The Slim-5 is available in many rack-units. I have one that's 42 units, if memory serves. (Or is it 43?) Jeff

What's the recommended number of 200s that can be stacked directly on top of one another?
Has anyone stacked them 5 high? That would be about 80 lbs on the bottom one. Can a 200 stand that amount of weight?
Is there sufficient room for circulation when they're stacked like this?

Outlaw has stated that no more than three should be in a single stack, although the author of this review has four in one stack (see the equipment rack picture on this page ). I would probably not stack five, and would try real hard not to stack four. ------------------ gonk -- Saloon Links | Pre/Pro Comparison Chart | 950 Review
