Question to those who have a 200...

I've read about the heat issue and how there seems to be none whatsoever. Could I stack my Panamax 4300 conditioner on top of 2 of the 200's? Am I looking for trouble or would it be no big deal.

Maybe I'm better off in relocating the panamax, which could be a pain in the ass.

Thanks in advance.

How about stacking the 200's on top of the Panamax? I have 2 200's, they run very cool compared to the 1050 internal amps. However I do not have mine stacked.

I thought of that as well but the Panamax is half the size. Its only 8 or 9 inches deep meaning the back feet of the 200 wont be on the ground.

Looks like I'll reconfigure where I put everything on the rack. Thanks for the reply.

I do not know how tall the Panamax is, but if it is just a depth problem you could always make some wooden shims to place behind the Panamax to fit under the model 200's feet. I did this a while back for a Sony es carousel CD player that was much deeper than the component it was sitting on.

I'm now thinking about doing what I originally thought of, and gonks reply in the other thread reinforced this idea. I'll stack the Panamax on the top 200 and put a little something under each foot of the panamax to ensure theres enough breathing room. As of now, theres not even a 1/4" between the shelf and the bottom of the panamax.

Im hoping propping it up to atleast .5" will be sufficient. Thanks for the input. LOoks like I have a few options to consider
